Cigar Tasting Notes Template: A Simple Format That Improves Every Log
Most cigar notes fail because they are vague: "good draw," "nice smoke," "would buy again." That language cannot guide future decisions.
A structured cigar tasting notes template gives you comparable logs, not random memories.
The 6 Fields to Track Every Time
- Context: time available, pairing, location
- Construction: draw, burn line, ash stability
- Flavor progression: first, second, final third
- Strength and body: mild/medium/full with confidence
- Emotional result: relaxed, focused, overstimulated
- Repurchase decision: no, single, or box-worthy

Why This Template Converts Into Better Purchases
By forcing a repurchase decision and flavor progression notes, you stop confusing pleasant moments with great cigars. This alone can eliminate most "why did I buy this again?" purchases.
