How does the AI Cigar Scanner work?

Point your camera at a cigar band or box label. Cigar AI suggests a likely catalog match and prefills available details for you to review and correct before saving.

Does the scanner identify obscure and boutique cigar bands?

Yes. The scanner database includes major heritage brands as well as boutique releases, limited editions, store exclusives, and regional vitolas.

Can I edit the details after scanning?

Frequently Asked Questions

How accurate is the band recognition?

Cigar AI uses the band photo to suggest a likely cigar and prefill useful details. Review every field and correct anything that looks wrong before saving.

What if my cigar has no band or an unbanded bundle?

You can quickly search the catalog by brand name or blend keyword. Once selected, Cigar AI automatically fills in all factory specs for you.

Can I scan cigars while inside a walk-in humidor without cell service?

No. Identification needs an internet connection because the image is processed by Cigar AI's cloud services. You can still add a cigar manually when you are offline.

Is the cigar scanner free to use?

Cigar AI includes limited free AI usage. Get the native Android app on Google Play or use the web app on iPhone, iPad and desktop.
